As you will see from my website most of the images of Rock Icons are men – mostly old men – the reason – they are the people I listen to and admire and they are easier to cut using Lino because they have weathered faces. Women and young women on the other hand are harder as they have smoother skin. This print of Rihanna was an attempt to find a way of overcoming these obstacles. using the second colour to create the tonal planes on the face.
